Rotterdam. RE architects designed in a freelance collaboration the refurbishment of 4 existing apartments into one large penthouse. A complex program involving high-end luxury, safety and moveable walls and hydraulic retractable staircase would make this a unique project in Europe. RE architects first defined a logistical scheme of functions that should or should not be connected before maximising the spatial potential of living on top of the world.
