To maximize the potential of this house RE architects were asked to design an extension to this house in the old centre of Harderwijk. Sandwiched by two higher neighbours there was room for raising the roofline and improving the useable space in the attic. To get rid of an outside corridor to the courtyard created room for a larger living room and a bigger hallway and a better staircase. An adjustment to create a bigger and more spacious house by a relative small adjustment while improving the variety in this historical street profile.
