Every Angle

GoudaTo make the existing building more attractive and inviting RE architects were asked to make a proposal to adjust the main entrance and public spaces in the building. The current entrance is very tight, with an out-dated materialization and the amount of doors and walls make the entrance not very appealing. We proposed to take out walls, doors and curved façade to allow space for a light, spacious and rectangular lobby. This addition creates a more balanced lay-out and transforms the triangular core into a square. The shifted angle that is a result from this approach works very well with the logo of Every Angle. By making the second door of the airlock secured, more control can be achieved of who is able to enter the building or not. Also people are able to collect the mail without walking through the rain. The mirror effect, the backlit coloured glass and higher ceiling height creates a more spacious and luxurious approach to the building. The side effect of the more efficient use of space is that the parking lot is more organized with 4 extra parking places as a result.
