La Suiza Columbia. On a stunning site on the edge of a tropical forest 14km from Pereira and Matecana airport a large piece of land was available for development. Studies showed that the larger area of Pereira lacks a high class hotel, wedding locations and a safe area to live for expats. We were able to integrate a 120 room hotel and conference-/partycentre into the mountain to reduce the interference into the forest as much as possible without compromising the view potential of the site. A ‘C’ shaped steel structure allowed for large cantilevers and a fast building process in this difficult accessible terrain. The site also provides space for 5 luxurious villas with plenty of privacy and safety due to 1 secured access.
